Conductor Tarana Taylor

Our annual production of "The Nutcracker" is accompanied by the professional musicians of the Houston Repertoire Ballet Orchestra - under the baton of our Conductor and Music Director, Tarana Taylor.

Members of our orchestra have performed or conducted at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, and with orchestras and ensembles around the country and across the globe, including Italy, Turkey, Japan, Poland, Russia, Mexico, Colombia, Cuba - and more.  Their unique musical experiences include playing with the US Navy Band; accompanying country star Martina McBride; and winning awards for building superb musical instruments.
