    Polovtsian Dances
    Original music: Alexander Borodin, from the opera Prince Igor
    Choreography by Kristy Nilsson, inspired by Michel Fokine and Igor Moiseyev

    The famous ballet, Polovtsian Dances, takes inspiration from the beautiful dance traditions of the Polovtsian people, a group of nomadic people who traveled from Turkey, to the Danube, through the Middle East, to Kazakstan and is known for being graceful as well as very athletic!

  • The Perfect Pairing

    We've found one of ballet's perfect pairings!
    Natalia Ashikhmina and Mark Krieger are known for their stunning partnership at Louisville Ballet.
    We were honored with their participation in our Celebration of Dance 2023 in the roles of Giselle and Albrecht in Giselle. You could hear the audience hold their breath as Natalia floated and flew across our stage with the stellar partnership of Mark. Both of them exuded their roles not only in dance performance but in their expressions and depth of feelings portrayed during the performance.
    We can not wait to have them back with us as Odette and Prince Siegried!
    This is a special treat for our community.

  • All Performances are held at Tomball High School Theatre
    30330 Quinn Rd, Tomball, TX 77375
    (The entrance to the theatre is on the back side of the school. Do not attempt to enter at the front of the school.)
    There is NO late seating.
    Guests are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes prior to the performance.
    All ticket sales are final - no refunds will be given.
